Section 1. This Association is organized and shall be operated for the purpose of creating interest in and giving moral and financial support to the Concord Middle and Concord High School Band programs in addition to that provided by the Cabarrus County School System. In the furtherance of such purposes, it shall be authorized.

a) To provide the director(s) with the assistance and support that will allow him/her to develop and provide a music program for the students that will be educational, enjoyable and rewarding.

b) To encourage and assist education in the field of music.

c) To aid in the development of student interest and to promote student leadership and responsibilities.

d) To raise and solicit funds for the Concord Middle and Concord High Schools’ band programs.

e) To receive, own and maintain real or personal property, or both, and to use and apply whole or any part of the income or principal there of exclusively for the Concord Middle and Concord High Schools’ Band programs.

• We love our kids (even while waiting in the cold for them to return from a game or competition at 2:00 AM)

• We love the positive influence that band participation brings to our family.
• We love that music education helps to provide a more well rounded overall education.
