Congratulations to the Spider State 3A Basketball Champions! Spiders top Vikings | Written by Ed Conway | | Sunday, 11 March 2007 |
 The Spiders defeated Kinston 85-79 Saturday night before a raucous crowd at Reynolds Coliseum to claim the State 3A Basketball Crown. Concord becomes the first 3A school to win the Football and Basketball titles in the same year.
